Point Sebago Resort - Group Meetings
“Point Team” Building Activities

An Interactive Adventure!
Our campus provides the ideal setting for Spring and Fall Team Building activities and ours, called “Point Team,” are designed to utilize unique interactive events, athletic challenges and games to increase social interactivity. Our 1 hour programs require the use of mind and body to enhance learning, thus giving your team the edge in today’s competitive environment. Each of the following “Point Team” activities do require a minimum of 20 people and rates are based upon your group booking a minimum number of overnight rooms to receive these special rates.

Fun in The Sun – $3 per person
Point Sebago will bring out the kid in everyone! Teams participate in activities designed to develop effective communication and problem solving skills.

Fun on The Water, Point Sebago Resort Group OutingsCanoe Races – $5 per person
Canoe races are a high energy team competition under the watchful eye of staff lifeguard.

Point Sebago Scavenger Hunt – $3 per person
Our crew has compiled a library of photos that we’ve gathered around the Resort. Your group must find where these shots were taken. Fun rain or shine, this is a great introduction to Point Sebago!

Putting Contest – $3 per person
Our golf staff will hold the contest at the Golf Learning Center. Entrants will putt simultaneously towards a line 25’ away. The person farthest from the line is then eliminated. Like Musical Chairs, this procedure is continued until there is one person standing, with each round eliminating one person. The winner to receive a Gift Certificate equal to 100% of total entries.

Ship To Shore – $6 per person
Group is divided into teams and each team is given minimal supplies (cardboard & duct tape) to put their ingenuity to work. Teams have a designated time to build a human-powered boat, capable of not only staying afloat but navigating a course. Teams decorate and name their craft, appoint a team captain and first mate, plus create a wacky cheer. Awards will be given for Best Design, Best Submarine and of course the winner!

Point Sebago 500 – $6 per person
Rain alternative to Ship to Shore, the only difference is a switch from boats to racing cars. Teams create their own “race car” with cardboard boxes and paint. Participants still name their vehicle, appoint a driver and create a cheer for their team.

Photo Forager Hunt – $6 per person
Teams take pictures around the property of specified activities. They must include every member of the team and the given mascot. Pictures are evaluated with a point system on creativity, difficulty and originality. This is start to finish fun!

Camp Sunshine Challenge Course – $10 per person donation (2 hour event)
Based on the “Challenge by Choice” philosophy, this physically and mentally challenging event concentrates on problem-solving tasks designed to help group members work and communicate effectively by thinking “outside of the box” during the first hour. The second hour is spent using Camp Sunshine’s low rope elements which are integrated with the natural environment. Team members support each other to accomplish each challenge. This program is designed with both the group and the individual in mind to build communication skills, personal self confidence, and group cohesion.
